The Information Technology Services (ITS) provides comprehensive IT services at HKU. Its services include access to a wide range of systems through the HKU Portal including the SIS (Student Information System), a web-based learning platform, and web-based administrative applications.

Students can easily access all HKU’s online facilities and services with a single sign-on via the user-friendly “HKU Portal” web interface by using the HKU Portal ID and PIN, which will be distributed upon admission registration. Communal PC are available at Chi Wah Learning Commons and PCs are installed with the latest versions of commonly used software packages, such as web page design, engineering computation, scientific applications, simulations, graphics applications and statistical analysis.

If you wish to connect your own PC (or notebook computer/ mobile device) to the University’s wireless network, please complete the configuration procedures. For wired connection such as at student residential hall, you have to first register the network card of your PC.
